K Im getting annoyed with the punto

Maybe because of the snow, i dont know, the wiper arm at the drivers side has bent(I think) and the wiper blade keeps bloody falling off when its wiping!!

I had to drive 3 miles basicly blind because I couldnt wipe the window

This is basicly the icing on the cake with the annoying juddering wipers, now they fall off!!

Any ideas how to fix this? are those storm single wiper conversion kits anygood?

My mates got a single wiper kit on his Saxo. Its fooking useless!!!!!! And imo looks crap.

so how can I fix this problem?

the juddering is annoying as hell but atleast it wiped the window! my cars off the road now until I can get this sorted

AFAIK the juddering is down to a dry linkage. common fault.
do a search and it will bring up posts on this and where/how to lube

do you mean the actuall blade just falls off onto floor. or do you mean the whole arm just stops moving.

if its the arm then you will need a new wiper motor linkage common failure a new motor comes with that also (cures the judder) they are about £100 at fiat i think. i think some peopel have bodged a free fix for this using a coing and glue lol but not sre teh details

if its just the blade, then i assume you sticking it on properley? and the connector on teh blade is still ok??? if it is then you need a new arm for some reason you just prise of the top plastic cover undo one bolt and arm will come off then put new one one maybe from a scrappy. good idea to mark postition of the arm when at rest before removig

K Ill try the arm thing from a scrappy, its the blade par that seems to stick to the windscreen at a point then it buckles and twists off, Ive been out all morning trying to bend the arm so the blade is at a better angle but or the life of me I cant, and I also cant figure out how this has happened, could it be because of the judder happening for so long?

I'm assuming that its a mk2> punto - it sounds like the problem is with the linkage itself.
They break at the point where the plastic meets the metal parts - this is a real common problem, and needs a new linkage complete with motor built in.
