Total newb to cars and just wondering what fiat punto I have (mk2/2b/3). All I know is it's a Fiat Punto, 1.2, active 8v, 04 plate with 5 doors. Can someone please tell me what version this is? Also if you could give me some tips on maintaining it, like what fluids to use etc. that would be great! Thank you very much in advance

Welcome to the forum Based on the year I'd say it's a Mk2b, but if you post a picture we can be sure (it's unlikely but it could be a very late registered Mk2).

As for fluids - 10w40 oil, DOT4 brake fluid, antifreeze/coolant type doesn't matter as long as you don't mix red with blue. If you don't know what's in there and it needs topped up then drain, flush and refill.

If you are flushing and refilling the coolent I suggest you read the guides because it's a real pig to get all the air out but job worth doing
