I have a fiat punto 75 n-reg mk1 1.25litre. A while a go i noticed the warning light showing there was a fault in the induction system. Now it comes on frequently and sometimes my car will suddenly pick up the revs and kick forward which can be dangerous especially when driving at slow speeds behind other cars. Also the car will rev at 2500 revs and this is pretty embarassing. I replaced the manifold on the exhaust but this hasn't done anything except now there is a whistling noise everytime i press the accelerator. Can anyone help me with any one of these problems?

what will this do? From experience the 75 suffered from throttle potentiometer problems when the engine bay gets hot. Replacement in 9/10 cases cures it although I did have one that had a faulty ecu.

This only cleans the stepper motor and throttle valve and has no effect on the throttle potentiometer signal varying due to internal resistence changes.
