my brake pads where last changed at 25K, 23K later i though i would check them. They look of for about another 15K to me but my disks are scored and have a lip on the outside.

How do these look?

Also on another forum someone commented as follows:
"shouldnt have rust where you wheel buts up either,indicates movement."

I think he means the rust where the back of the wheel is bolted to the wheel hub (the face that the studs are in). Is rust in this place normal?

yep thats ok are the pads wearing nice and flat? if si i would leave them for a while if your skint, if not new disks only about £10 each at motor factors (unless you have a gt) pads around £15 a set
