Hi All,
I'm trying to put a Parrot CK3100 with the Kenwood KDC-3057UR into the missus' Punto, as she spends a lot of time in the car. All the ISO connections mate up, so no adapters required. The problem is not only the same as the rest of the strings posted, where the radio stays on, BUT so does the Parrot. It won't shut up!!
I have tried swapping reds and oranges, and reds and yellows, with no luck.
The local installation folk want £100 to rectify this for me. I'm too tight, or too stupid to pay that. (Not too stupid to sort out the rest of the wiring, note!)
It would place me in good stead with the missus(You too), if there is some brighter spark than me, who can get the setup sorted for us.

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi mate,

There is no PROPER switched live on the punto radio wiring. The oem radio is switched via can bus. All you need to do is take a feed from an ignition switched live (such as the cigarette lighter socket) and replace the current "switched live" in the existing ISo harness. That way you will have a proper switched live so both your radio AND parrott will turn on and of with the ignition.

Hope that helps
Alan

Good reminder ziggy, all new circuits should have cable sized/rated correctly and fused appropriately of course.
