Hi,whats the basic procedure for replacing the o ring.
Do i have to disconnect the battery,and will the ecu be effected?
Or can i just remove coil pack,and replace faulty o ring
Thanks in advance guys for your help

we aint on about the 1.2 8v tho are we?

as the 1.2 8v is Undo the 3 bolts holding the Coil pack carrier onto the engine
The seal will come out with it

Simply pull off - slot on - refit 3 bolts and done

its like a 10minute job

but the 1.8 16v aint that easy iirc

Yeah its a punto mk2 1.2 8 valve
so its straight forward?????

Yeah,removed the coil pack this morning,simple! just 3 bolts as u rightly said,the o ring seemed fine,so i just put a bead of gasket sealent over it,didnt have new o ring anyway,fiat only sell them in packs of 5!
so it should seal better now

minw was leaking causing a drip on exchaust, the job took 10 mins and a little bead of sealent helps

Not necessarily, I got a single from the main dealer

eurocarcare in sunny Derby. Where most people get Cento and Punto bits. Google will find -- they have an eBay shop, too: "It's Cento Time".

Its cento Time wont bring any results up for me....

You have to search shops in eBay. But eurocarcare brings them up on Google.

Oh yea i used them for the swivel hub nuts and bolts
