hey peeps,

Ive had a yellow mk2b active sport 1.2 8v for a couple of months now and wanna make a start on some subtle mods soon as i have some spare cash.

one thing i really want to do is get rid of those pointless reflectors on the boot that fiat decided to add to the facelift model.

ive looked at pictues of both boots and they look the same but just wanna know if they are the same fitment wise.

also is the spoiler on the facelift boot the same as on the original mk2?

Will be yes, watch out if you are buying a yellow Mk2 boot thinking its the same colour though, think they are slightly different. Might be an idea to double check paint codes.

Yep.

sweet. and yeh the old colour is broom yellow and the one on mine is called imola or something like that.

will have to search ebay after xmas.

are the reflectors just stuck on? could you try removing them have to ask one of the mk2b owners on here if it can be done and there is no screws or dipped indent bit for the reflectors then it will be a lot easier messing with colour matching, replacing the boot etc.

just an idea

ha i discovered in an unintentional way weather the reflectors can be removed. i reversed into a bollard at the pub and cracked the reflector, sure the reflector comes out that way but ur left with a nasty looking red plastic underneath

is this removeable

im not sure mate not tried! ill have a look for you tomorrow, car is completely covered in show right now tho so will have to wait for these arctic conditions to stop lol . ur punto is same colour as mine as well with colour coded bumpers! haa. what size alloys u got on it?

hi thanxs thats the only thing i dont like about the mk3 the boot
and erm i dont have any alloys atm because its winter and i have steel rims on looking to buy some new alloys in new year
the alloys on my pic is a quick edit i did to see how they looked

ahh right right, well from looking at my reflector thats fixed into the colour coded bumper pal! im looking to buy the sporting kit for mine neway soon cos those reflectors are actually disgusting!. and ive just bought some 15s for mine 250 from halfords great lil deal, hopefully gonna lower it as well soon!
