if this will look good,
right basically i cannot find any colour coded bumpers in my colour, ive got quite a faded red mk1. ive managed to find some black bumpers, im thinking of putting the black bumpers on the car and spraying half the car black, like from the side strip down. and spraying my alloys black too.

what do people think? im kind of in two mind about it. could look good but could also look crap.

opinions please

i rekon it will be different, but not good different will looklike the very old style two tones paintwork you used to get on cars when they thought it looked good haha

So you already have colour coded bumpers on?

i think it might lookn different in agood way,i like two tone :)
no bumpers arnt on the car, i got the crappy plastice black ones on atm, i can get some painted black ones if i wanted them though, found some near to me

would be hardasmy car has faided, would have to be a bodyshop job to match the paintwork, if i paint the half the car black i could do it myself as i dont have to match anything lol

If you are wanting to spray yourself, by the time you get compressor and paint etc, not including time and effort, You may as well have it done properly and then get just the bumpers done to match your car.......

 O No something just dawned on me!!! Don't even think about it :nono: You are thinking about using tin cans eh?!?!?

It will look :yuck: you will ruin your car if you are thinking about spraying from a can, no doubt about it.

Yeh I like you ambitiousness (word?) with the spraying but I don't think it would be good done by no-one but a bodyshop sprayer?

doubtfull lol.

yer it will be impossible to get the same finish and you will always see bumps where a flie or something landed,
trust me they love fresh paint(n)
