Whats involved is you placing an advert for your car in autotrader/ebay, then going out and buying a Gt .

Its the same engine as a gt but with a longer stroke....I would guess you'd just have to buy all the bits a GT has that yours doesn't and fit them to the block....about as economically sensible as buying a car to burn it out but its your car.

if i,d wanted a gt i,d would of bought one i like my cab

OOH....is that wise? Its a cool idea but the cab isn't the most rigid of vehicles might get very wobbly indeed with a monster motor in the front and the suspension and brake mods to cope with it.

ive wonderd the same for ages can you turbo the 1.6 .. surely it could be made much more powerfull than the 1.4 on the basis that its bigger and stronger? if you do go ahead with this lease keep me in the loo;p!

Its not bigger and stronger....it's the same block but the pistons move further....i.e. longer stroke, so all limitations that apply to the 1.4 will still apply.

oh ...

1.6 bottom ends have been used for big power applications.

so .basicly whats is going to be longer lasting and ncely tuneable the 1.6 or the 1.4

Both as bad as each other.
