Finding sat nav not that good, so thinking of removing the head unit to provide space for CD changer, but have been told head unit is part of the car alarm system.
If this is true is there anyway of keeping the alarm and still removing the head unit?

TIA

Steve

Working for FIAT, i have never known the head unit and alarm to be part of one another.

If you have a few penny's Kenwood do some really good head units and slave units which could fit in the additional dash pocket.

If i could i would put...

kenwood fold out in dash monitor up top, with graphic equaliser in second dash pocket with DVD changer and CD changers in the boot, this would also give you the option in the future to install kenwoods sat nav system.

Thx for the reply mate, already got an alpine headunit installed where the cd changer was originally had not thought of a graphic equaliser think I will be moving the alpine up and equaliser in the old changers place. Thx for the idea!
