I know my batt has let a little well known white powder out

plus my battery tray is looking pretty rashed with rust... SO time for a clean up and spray
However i cant remove mine without disconnecting the battery....
Will this cause any problems if i was to remove it? (except loose Time on the clock?)

It shouldnt do, even some cars wit immobilisers and alarm it doesnt really effect, just disarm it
Jus disconnect it and take it out easy as that. Ive done plenty of battery fits at halfords on pmk2

no alarm and no imobilzer
I'll wip it out then soom, scrub - prime and spray
