wen my power stearin went i had to get a new stearing column and ecu...but when it was all fittin and put into place the airbag light is now always on...does this mean the airbag is not present and plugged out? so will i just open up the column and put it back in or what do i do? help please

They're fail safe systems so in theiory, short of wires shorting, the airbag won't randomly go off, but at the same time it won't go off if needed in a smash.

Your power steering went and you had to get a new column and ecu, is it electronic power steering? mines went on my punto so i got a motor from a scrappy and half an hour later everything was dandy!
