Would appreciate any suggestions really my 97 gt wont start first time it just seems like theres not enough power in the battery but thats been checked and its fine. Turns over but doesnt catch. Second time it starts but nearly straight away it then cuts out. Third and final time it starts and revs up on its own but sometimes it tries to cut out when i touch the accelerator but doesnt. It revs itself up to about 2,000rpms and then it goes ok. Once im off my driveway it runs perfect. The car runs perfect both cold and warm its just the starting problem. Its starts fine when turned off and still warm though.Has had a new crank sensor, air flow meter, lambda sensor I have also wire brushed the spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body. Any ideas ?

my problem is duplicate threads, makes it hard for people who are trying to help actually help you...i would have been one of thos people but dont think ill bother now.
:yeahthat: when your trawling through the forum opening thread's trying to help, it dosen't make things easier having 3 in different tabs/windows by the same person asking the same thing.
