I really wanna lower my Punto as it's on 17's and looks a little like a monster truck lol. I firstly don't know what springs to get, any ideas? I wanna drop it by 40mm and the next thing is should i buy aftermarket Shocks? because there really expensive and again what make should i use?

I had a full G-Max kit on my Cinq (if that's anything to go by) and thought it was superb. If you can get the full kit, get it, as the gas dampers deliver fantastic handling on top of the lowered centre of gravity provided by the springs.

They do one for the Punto, 35mm drop - best to give them a ring and they'll advise you about fitment with bigger wheels, etc.

I found the service from these guys was also extremely good.

I know people who run 50mm PI spings on standard shocks and they havent had any problems over 3 years.

the only thing that puts me off is how expensive shocks are

hmmm yeah £250 doesn't seem bad, i may have to get that.
