Do Punto mk2's not have a rev counter? If not how do you know when to change gear, do you just do it by speed/sound?

Also does anyone know the power of the 4 speakers in the mk2 in watts.

Please reply

The bog standard 1.2 8v doesnt have a rev counter:mad:

I know the sporting, hgt and jtd models do. Not sure about the active sport.

it depends on the year. . all mk2b's have rev counters and all but the basic mk2's do also

your meant to change gear when you hear the sound 'dur' 'dur' 'dur' 'dur' of the limiter :)(y)

hahahaha very good(y)(y)(y)

all mk2's after 2002 had rev counters, when the new engine was introduced, prior to the new line up of active/sport, etc, the bottom of the range ones didnt, think they will still S wernt they:confused:

The original mk2 in the basic trim and 1.2 8v dubbed 'mia' Doesn't have a rev counter, all others including active (that came a bit later) come with rev counters.

Its easy to fit a new dash display just get one from scrap / salvage yard with less mileage than your car and get dealer to update mileage :). All the wiring is there ready availible IIRC.

My Active Sport does, 1.2 - is this an ELX I'm assuming?
