Technical correct cambelt

http://www.thehappymotorist.co.uk/fai/fai4.php?psid=7&Vehicle_ID=1545 wanted to make sure if this was right for my car [mk2a punto sporting], not sure when the cambelt was last done in my car and its done 76k so thought it'd be best to change it asap

dont use an FAI belt, go to moter factors and get a gates kit

make sure its full kit inc tensioner,

and dont forget you need the tools, cheap on shop4parts with the discount you get after donating to ff, you have to donate first as the code is in the donated members section

yeah it is the full kit, for 52 quid,

took the cambelt cover off to have a quick look and there are a few tiny cracks in it you have to squint to see, its doesnt look in bad nick, is it alrite to leave the cambelt for a bit as i'll be needing my car

I have the same car as you, down to the colour.

My cambelt snapped last month at 84k.

It cost me £780 to repair (amonst a few other niggles).

fxck that, i'm getting it done soon as then, seen a cambelt kit on shop4parts.com for around 30 quid, sounds much better to sort the problem than spend 780 quid :|
