Hey, I have a silver MK2 5dr and was wondering, what colour rims would look best? At first I thought that silver would but recently i've had this urge to get black ones. Could anyone help me out by posting a picture of a silver Punto with both black and silver rims? Or could somebody be amazing and photoshop both black and silver rims onto my car if I upload a picture.

And just in general, what do you think would look better?

in my personal opinion black wheels would look better on ur car as there is some contrast between the wheels and car bodywork, silver would just be rubbish

i'm not very good at photoshop and when i did back wheel it just looked wrong, like it wasn't even part of the car

Don't worry about it toad101, thanks for that though. It's helped my decision to buy Black Rims .

glad to have been of some help, i've heared people have trouble fitting 17" on a 5 door though as the rear arches are different, mainly rubbing when carrying weight in the back

Yeah I don't want 17's anyway, I think they look too big on a Punto. Just looking for some 16's now . As you say about rubbing whilst people are in the back, with 16's do you have a recommendation for how much I should lower it?

There are some pretty nice black/silver wheels for sale in the classifieds seciton here. Only 14s, but with a bit of work, they would look great if you completely slammed your car :slayer:

you should be ok with a 30-35mm drop
