Lowering

Hi i have a 2010 sporting 1.4 and was wondering if there are any lowering springs that are good quality and don't cost too much. Can someone help me?
Thanks

Re: Lowering

Stick to known brands that come from reputable suppliers, Euro car parts appear to have a set for a little over £100, it also depends how low you want to go.

Don’t forget before you spend the money to ask your insurance company if you’re allowed, some won’t cover mods so you could spend the money for nothing and not be able to do the mod, or do it anyway and invalidate your insurance.

Re: Lowering

Lowering is a good idea if you stick to an inch, too low can alter the ride in a bad way especially if the shocks are the originals, they will be a bit tired I fear. If you stick to the inch & the shocks are in good condition you will be good to go, how ever this is the time to check them & replace if need be. Just my thoughts.

Re: Lowering

I thought aboit it too, my front shocks are really tired, so I thought about lowering kit...I found one 330 Eur price (all 4 shock absorbers + 4 springs, adjustable lowering from 3cm to 6cm....3cm is max for Punto I think...). But lowering is one thing, another thing are also some nice 16" ALU discs + new tires...but thats expensive. And its my wife's car so its waste of money to have only visual efect :-(
