So, I'm racing at Castle Combe on a trackday, Sat 24th April.
Question is, do I take the Turbo (which still desperately needs an oil cooler) or the non-turbo 1242?

Well, if you put it like that, TURBO!! At least you've got AA/RAC membership if the inevetable happens

wasnt a "Take the silver one and let ghost take the risk with the turbo" option on the poll so i went with the turbo []

I think the silver one needs some attention. Seems like a good idea to turn it into a track car for the day

Where are you gonna put the oil cooler then??
Aren't you gonna need something slightly larger than a shoehorn to fit it in! - then again I suppose you don't have an intercooler taking up that space on the left hand side - are you gonna put it there??
Keep us posted as too how it goes - you got an oil temp gauge to go with that?

Gonna put it right behind the grille on the passenger side, still undecided about the intercooler - can get the same effect by rerouting the air intake. Oil cooler is an 80'c thermostatic jobby, so don't think I'll bother with a gauge... for now anyway!
