Hi,
I own a mulitjet cross which i took green laning last week... All was going well until i misjudged a large body of water. Anticipating that further progression would worsen my position i stopped to allow a friend to pull me out.. in my wisdom I opened my door :bang::bang: which let in a rush of water...damm...
After being pulled out i realised the water was deeper than i thought but the car started and i managed to drive out.
Since then not surprisingly I have been presented with a hoard of electrical gremlins like 4x4 unavailable, hillhold, abs, esp airbag etc plus the temp gauge and rev counter failed to work. I've since tried to dry things out like removed all fuses used wd40 etc. I am now just left with 4x4 unavailable and air bag failure. Any suggestions in clearing these faults?. I have a scanner and cleared down any fault codes but any suggestions on where to point the WD40?
In all other respects the car drives spot on and everything else works as it should .
