Advice welcome!- I have DIY experience but am a bit out of touch re. whether some makes of steering/suspension components are better than others. My 59-reg 1.2. Panda Dynamic Eco just got an advisory for a little wear on the n/s inner track rod end - it's only done 22,000 miles so I was a bit surprised but I guess the lousy road surfaces are to blame... It's got TRW components fitted from new but these don't seem to be that easy to source in the UK. I've seen Delphi on Ebay and S4P offer 'Original Birth' at a similar (cheap) price. Eurocarparts offer Lemforder but at a much more expensive price - is there a significant difference or are they all much the same? Although it's only the inner that needs replacement, I thought I might as well do the outer at the same time - good idea or not? Final question is about the 'rack boot clamp: it looks like it has to be cut off and replaced - are aftermarket metal clips available that can be fitted without a special tool? (I'm assuming a cable tie is not good enough...?). Any other advice on doing this job gratefully received - (and yep, I know the tracking will need doing afterwards) - Thanks in anticipation
