The electric window switch for the drivers side on my Panda 1.3D has an intermittent fault when trying to open the window. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Closing is fine if it does open. Suspect the switch contacts are either dirty or faulty.
Anyone know how to remove it so I can clean or replace it without needing to take out the whole dashboard?

Managed to fix it by prising off the switch cover, very carefully, with a thin blade screwdriver. The switch cover pivots on the two small plastic pins that hold it in place and has plastic bits on the back that push on the small switches on the circuit board. I pushed the tiny switches with the tip of the screwdriver and they worked OK, so just replaced the switch cover and now all working OK. The switch cover, I assume, must have been slightly misplaced and not pushing on the down switch every time.

i know it was quite a while ago but thanks.
got the same problem with mine, replacement switch on its way.
i will follow your gently prising technique.
screwdrivers in horizontally or vertically as you look at the switch?
regards...brett

Using a small thin screwdriver vertically on the side of the switch is how I remember doing it.
Have changed to a later model Panda since then, but switches still come out the same to get at the lamps to replace.
