Hello, I've just bought a Panda 100hp which I am collecting on Friday (can't wait)! However, the top of the gear knob (the silver plastic piece) is quite worn and I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get a replacement from?

Fiat have said you can only buy the full gear knob, but at £61 (and a pain to fit) that seems a bit ridiculous for the sake of a small piece of plastic. If I can't find one I'll just unclip and respray it.

Any help would be great,

As it is a Fiat part Fiat is probably the only place you can get a new one from.

I'm supprised that bit has worn I would have expected the leathery looking stuff to wear first. My top piece still looks like new (done 16,000). Maybe the previous own used to wear a ring or something?
 
Yeah I went into the local Fiat dealer and they said I could only order a full gear knob which seams a bit over the top...

I know what you mean, maybe yeah, just quite scratched. I think I'll just unclip it and respray it matt silver, should be good as new.
