Did you know that if your passenger sticks their foot a bit behind the centre console, it is possible for them to operate the footbrake?
Well my Boyf mentioned that everytime i put my foot on the brake he could feel something moving under his toes (it will be a bar i guess). As we were just moving slowly coming out of a retail park, he showed me how he can fairly easily put enough pressure on the brake to stop the car!
This is obviously down to the linkage with the master cylinder being designed for LHD cars as its on the N/side. Shame Fiat didn't do a proper job and transfer it to the drivers side on RHD cars. I think this explains why the brakes don't feel as direct as they would do if the master cylinder was on the drivers side.
