Hi all,
Originally posted here as a new member back in July. Then, we were intending to buy a Punto 1.4 8v, but chance had it a Panda 1,2 Lounge 63 plate came to our attention at only 30k miles, in bright red and in brilliant original condition.
The only tiny downside, in my opinion, is the fact it was lacking the radio controls on the steering wheel but had been fitted with a reasonable quality JVC head unit with BT, AUX and USB inputs. I was just wondering if the OG radio unit is worth sourcing or was it one of those overpriced unreliable units with no BT.
Other than that its certainly a pleasure to drive and considering we have come from a big 2.2HDi Citroen estate car, my wife absolutely loves it. The only fault to date in the four weeks we have owned it is the hand brake cables neede replacing. But what an absolute doddle to fit. Happily new to Fiat.

A3jeroen . . There are no steering wheel controls. It's a blank steering wheel. The only reason I mentioned it was because I thought the Lounge version all had them.

Handy having head unit with USB ( I have 750 songs on mine). And on my Panda TA 4x4 with Blue And Me got Auxillary in. I listen to DAB radio station via that that's now DAB+ so have had to buy another mini one to plug in (only £15). Steering wheel controls good for handsfree and scrolling through usb titles. But can't fast forward existing track or anything like that. The updated Lounge in late '16 had steering wheel controls. But believe forego side rubbing strips and heated mirrors. Which I'd rather have in your shoes. (y)
