Has anyone fitted a pre-start engine warmer with circulation pump to the 1.2l 4cylinder Panda?

I live in Sweden where the temperature sometimes drops below -25¤ C. At the moment I have a Defa in-line heater hose heater which is pretty useless. In the 90´s I had a Kenlowe pre-heater on my Alfa 33 which was very effective, but they don´t seem to manufacture them anymore.

I remember my Dad using a parrafin heater under the sump of his cars in the late 50's and 60's to great effect. During the big freeze of 1962 his was the only car in the street to start :D

I am in Finland. My punto has a Defa hose heater. No problems with it. Same engine as the panda I think.

Judderbar is there a chance of a picture of it fitted and if there are any negatives I have the 1.6 diesel JTDM and at tick over and slow traffic it takes a month to get warm enough to clear the window, I have been thinking about one of these the last couple of years. The general consensus when I have mentioned it is that you don’t need it but I think in my case it would be useful. My car if you drive it from cold will heat up quickly but in traffic it just doesn’t warm up, i am sure that just a short burst before the school run would give enough warmth to clear condensation etc, it’s not the outsides I’m bothered about, thank you

Does this help? Diagrams are clear but text seems very confusing.

These heaters are 550W so that is not sufficiently powerful for an immediate solution for a cold car.
