I am thinking of purchasing a new Panda. I currently drive a 2012 Punto but fancy a change.I have read about the privilege scheme and there certainly seems to be great deals on at the moment. Does anyone know if joining the Fiat Motor Club qualify for this scheme? if not should I expect a loyalty bonus for being a current Fiat owner or past Fiat credit customer (I have now paid off the Punto).

I think there are various ways of getting the benefit of the scheme, I know joining the british cycling club is one.

Institute of Advanced Motorists members also qualify. Not sure about Fiat Motor Club members. Logically you'd think they should, which means they probably don't.

Earlier this year there was a loyalty bonus. (£500 iirc) for current Fiat owners who were PXing - not sure if that still applies. My cynical side suspects that they just chop £500 off their PX offer

Thanks for the update. I knew about the British Cycling Club but given my age (54),general lack of fitness and complete lack of interest in cycling I could not justify joining. I may consider applying to join the IAM. I am considering buying a Panda lounge trim with a few option packs (winter,comfort, sat navigation etc).
I would like the twinning engine but I am not sure that I can justify the price premium. having said that I also quite fancy a trekking model.

Those discounts for the Affinity scheme aren't as good as the Privilege scheme was offering earlier this year, but I guess Fiat may have reduced the Privilege scheme discounts in the meantime.

Also check some online brokerd. I got a good deal with CarWow. You just request the model and you get quotes from different dealers.

The deals are in year 1/4's and the current one finishes at the end of September 2015.

No one knows yet if the last 1/4 deals will be better or worse??

You don't need to be a member of the NHS, Cycling, Police etc yourself if a (close-ish) member of your family is!

Billytwoshoes Yes, members of the Fiat Motor Club (G.B.) qualify for the affinity and privilege schemes.

Current prices are always on the West Midlands Police website, so look on there for Fiat details.

It costs £25 to join the Fiat Motor Club & you qualify for the scheme straight away. don't forget any discount also applies to factory fitted options, which can make a big difference if you're speccing up a Panda 4x4 for example.
