Hi more Panda problems.
I am having trouble bleeding the cooling system, I can't appear to get the air out of the heater matrix. The system has been drained completely (several times now) and it still persists. Sitting at idle the heater grows warm but switching on the fan rapidly cools the air down, so I would put that down to heat soak. After 20mins of hard driving the temp starts to rise to close to the red. Has anyone else had this sort of problem or has any ideas?

when you fill the system makle sure that you have the lever inside the car set to maximum heat... otherwise you'll by pass the top bit of the system.

If you are feeling brave you could try the trick we used with mid-engined kit cars years ago. The trick is to introduce leaks by lossening all the coolinig system hose clips until they leak when the engine in running. When they are all seeping out water (and air) tigthen them all up, often works wonders. cheers Damon

Could be blocked or knackered thermostat.
