Hi everyone, the Monroe shockers for the rear of the selecta have arrived, and i was just wondering what sort of grease i will need to put on the bushes?

Not sure you do have to put grease on the bushes Just rubber grommety things arnt they

I was thinking the same. I've never greased the bushes when I've replaced shock absorbers except occasionally to make fitting them easier. I certainly never worry about what particular grease to use.

Yep just a very light smear of anything holds them in place then the bolt & washers hold them in permanantly.

Slight problem - i cant get the old shockers off , after taking forever to get the nuts off, i cant take the shocker off. I have tried hitting it, shouting at it, pulling it, but it wont come off.

They should lever off. Get a breaker bar behind them. If your not wanting to keep them just be brutal :devil:

If you don't mind a bit of flame burn the bushes out but don't set the car on fire

I have have another try later, my hands are hurting too much right now.

i have got Gucci shocks on mine...

Well i have always liked Monroe (i have her 'casting couch' vid ). Anyway back to shockers.....
