General NIIMC meet on the 27th

Jim, Steve, Stu just to let you know, after I dropped that brake disc on my foot I ended up with achillies tendonitis something to do with the way I was walking to protect my sore foot which produced a weakness in the achillies tendon which I knackered last year at work running to a burning car.

Anyway I'm still struggling to walk at the mo, but I'm sure I will have the use of the clutch foot by saturday morning (Hopefully, I am praying). I can still use my BM as it's an auto, However if I'm still in a simmilar position by Saturday I may have no choice but to take the BM (I don't think Tony wants to drive the Sisley with L plates), I'm not cancelling either way. I had a chat with Tony earlier and we're still both eager to go over.

Anyway thought I would let you know just incase you wonder WTF I'm doing in a German car at an Italian car meet.

Alan, as long as you realise that you risk ridicule and scorn if you show up on a Beemer. :p

How much does it cost to plonk a Panda on a ferry and take it to NI? I finished uni 10 minutes ago and running away sounds like fun!

I'm putting Alan and Tony up on Sat night and there's one spare sofa bed left if your in the mood for standing in a car park with Steve that afternoon!:p

Taking your panda is coming up at 154 quid on Stena....:(

(they're like easyjet, the closer to the date of travel the more expensive it is)

To fly from eastmidlands is about the same and they won't take a panda as hand luggage as it don't fit into one of them little overhead lockers so I'd start chattin to alan about a lift if I was you:D

Jim

I've just had a look at the sailing times and the ferry leaves at 07.15 and according to tom tom will take about 3 hrs (25min in the BM) to get to stranrear from my pad although probably less I would imaging but will have to leave at about 4am just to make sure

Alan I'm really sorry for taking so long to get back to you, I have tried all the B&Bs round me and I can't find a free one whatevers going on overhere this weekend. I see your ok to stay at Jims thank goodness. I have to put my mate Neil up as well as I couldn't get anywere for him either.
I take it we're all still for the four trees in Moira Jim after the show?

Do you think Steve will chicken out early so he won't have to buy a round :p

Do you think Alans foot will be better for Sat as he doesn't know it yet but he's on crowd control and traffic directing.

Do you think Sylvia will make the show with an Englishman at the wheel.

Do you think my 308 will make it without quiting.

Will Steve turn up in the Stilo or Lloyd

All these questions and more answered on Saturday so stay tuned. :D

I 'might' not make it to the pub, I 'might' be on babysitting duty on Saturday night. :(

I'm not towing you this time if it packs in, I'll be in Lloyd! :p
