I know most of here use Pandas as our everyday daily driver.

I am using my 1993 1000 CLX with 54k on it and it's been great. That may be changing soon to my 1988 Fantasia with 26k and I hope it's as reliable as the CLX has been.

So, what's your daily driver, how many miles is on it, what year is it and is it reliable? :)

i think most will know my car now. panda 1.1 selecta, 68000 miles (had 47000 when i got it), 1994 L reg, and its very reliable (apart from the fuel injection), it been more reliable than ANY other car i have had (famous last words :D).

Both of our 4x4's are used daily and are very reliable as a rule. The Dog car has around 110,000 on the clock and the Siseley 80+,000.
We wouldn't swap them for anything unless we really had to. (y)

I have done more miles in Rufus since purchase than any of the previous 5 did, and the miles are going to be piled on over the next month as I have to travel to Liverpool daily in the week. The journey to work is pretty damn fun when there's no one in front down the lanes, although I'm getting a little bit tired of motorway driving. However the Panda (a 1000 fire Colour in blue with twin sunroof, approaching 48k) loves every second, and is sounding sweeter than ever before. :D

Got the Panda when i wanted a car that did better MPG than my what is now Toy car. Also needed 4x4. Had a zook 413 and what a pile that was.

Now have the 7 shade panda. Has 139k on the clock. and still going strong :)

1995 Selecta - 44K Everyday to Belfast battling the traffic or Larne battling the hills

Juppy - Erm... Having a rest? 107K but goes like 7k!!!

1991 1000Super - 56k Resting till I get the cooling sorted (hopefully tomorrow!) but it's going to have to make it till the tropic of cancer so does that count as a 'daily driver'?

My previous Panda went from 70K to 95K in 30 months, and my youngest learned to drive in it.
As far as I know it is still in use.

My current one is starting to pile the miles on too, as it does a daily 20 mile commute in addition to other local running, and has averaged 45 mpg over the last 5 tankfulls.

The first one my eldest had ran for three years, but died from corrosion.
Her current one has been used for just over a year now.

I'd say they have all needed care and attention to sort them out when bought, and have then gone on to give good service - give or take odd minor part failures/wear and tear, and up to press they've all completed every journey they started (which excludes the flat battery incident :)).

My 45CL is just a weekend runaround and showcar, and hibernates during the winter months. I have a 120 mile round motorway trip to work (Leeds) though so the Brava is my daily driver. I have taken the Panda on two occasions to show it to my workmates, and it was good fun. Once warmed up it'll do 70 when needed (overtaking etc) so didn't embarass herself on the M62, but I couldn't do it everyday, as it's life is now a restful one........:)

130,000 + miles so far.

Had to replace some tracking rod ends, the cylinder head gasket went and took part of the cylinder head with it so got it skimmed and replaced the gasket, been through quite a few tyres, replaced the front brake calipers. Had a small prang so the grille got replaced, along with the bonnet and headlamp/indicator. The doors are looking suspect (you can see through the bottom of the driver's door!).

Apart from that it runs really well considering I've treated it so badly.

The worst thing that went wrong was the engine mount on the transmission side collapsed (have you seen how thin that metal is?!) and it bent the nearside drive shaft when the engine sank suddenly to a few inches lower!

Its a 1988 Super (999cc FIRE) And despite the problems still going fine.

Out of curiosity vin, where abouts do you work in leeds? I sometimes make the trip from leeds to scunthorpe to pick up parts from our scunthorpe branch. Buts thats in a company car, not the panda. I work for scania, the truck company.

Used to drive to Edinburgh every day for about 11 months in Princess. From Coldstream thats 120 miles a day. Princess is having a rest at the mo with about 135000 on the clock.

8 miles a day, bought it because the mondeo was doing around 15mpg  hasn't misswed a beat and seems to be running better the more i thrash it.

125k.
