Took a trip out to the lakes in Italy this week, wonderful time over there, On the way about I could NOT believe the amount of pandas that were about, I only managed to get a few photos but they were everywhere. Its sad, but it re-kindled my flagging passion

I currently have the crazy plan of flying over, buying one and driving it back......

Better plan is for several of us to go and bring one back each - international buying convoy anyone?

really wish you hadn't posted that picture of the embossed tailgate :(

I'll have to buy one now :bang:

Better still buy a Peugeot/Citroen/Renault, get a few understanding friends on board, drive to Italy, dump the French car somewhere and drive four Panda's home. ;)

You're assuming the French car would get to Italy without coming to a graceful halt at the side of the road with a mystery electrical issue...

I'll have you know a bloke at work bought a clio and it lasted a whole 23 days before the scrapman was called, you could easily get to france in 23 days!

On topic who was it on here that drove a 2 cyl panda all the way back from italy?

I'm in Rome right now... Hundreds around
If you go to autoscout24.it you find many starting at €300/400
You must pay for "passaggio di proprieta" that's around another €200/300 it's a fee the new owner need to pay but I don't know if you intend to export
May look into it if anyone is interested
