I went yesterday, what a great show it is, just about all my favourite cars where there.
The Panda's were fantastic, that 1000 Super is well smart.
Talking to one of the lads on the stand gave me and my Dad some top info and advice on sourcing parts.
Great show well worth going to.

The lighting in there was appalling, especially with my awful camera, so be prepared for my worst pictures ever.

No updates from Gavin or Vernon, I'm wondering if after a busy day of panda action and fundraising 
they head straight to the hotel bar for some well earned refreshments I wish I could join them! :devil:

Hi folks. Just a quick thank you for the posts above.
Very difficult to find any time for updates & no signal at the hotel. Very busy & didn't stop yesterday. Too tired for the bar too believe it or not!!! :bang:

Some photos as promised for those who couldn't get there. The lighting is poor for photos so the colouring may look a little strange.
Thanks to everyone who helped or came along to get biffed on the head by the Panda balloons!!
A couple of you know that the Super blew its exhaust on the way to the NEC (odd I expected it to be the 45CL but that bodge I did for Thoresby has now done nearly 1000 miles ). To come home we took off the back box as it was hanging on one strap, so I made a heck of a noise driving 100 miles home.
Apparently doing 80 down the M40 made a noise like several 747's and could be heard for miles It didn't sound too bad inside (v.loud but didn't deafen me like a 127 would!) but the car lost speed every time I hit a tiny incline, then sounded like the end of the world when I tried to get some speed back up. Anyway I pretended I was 18, cranked the radio up, and tried to ignore the stares as a Panda causing a sonic boom hurtled down the outside lane.......

Nec rules. Do you know we had stuff from 1937 to 1992 and none of the 9 had a single drop of anything in the trays!!!
I was really surprised after 4 days. The 10 baking trays cost me £7.50 so offers for second hand ones welcome - give generously for Pinky! :devil:

the fiat motor club got a mention and a pic in this weeks classic car weekly (page 8) you can just see the back of the pandas
Good pics, better than my phone pics, as it doesnt always work.
Palio - why didnt you attach the Panda balloons, that would have distracted everyone from the slight extra noise?.
Was good to see everyone and the pandas in the flesh(!), didnt manage to catch Vernon to ask about the possible hose contact.

We were for flying over but at the last minute it all fell through and I'm sorry now I didn't try harder to get.

I thought I'd resurrect this thread as Numptey asked about this year's NEC show.
I'm pretty sure it's been on one of the other threads, but we were probably so far off topic I can't find it!
Anywho, this year's NEC show is on from 15th - 17th November.
Once again there will be a selection of Panda's on the Fiat Motor Club/Fiat Panda Club stand.
I am expecting 4 again this time. I think we are expecting purple haze 's fantastic Bianca, homeward 's Betty (Vernon has to finish it first), and 2 of VmanC 's Panda's - my project Panda (Panto!) if it's finished and a.n.other - was it Bucket, Pinky or something else Vernon?
Whatever, it should be a good display, so put the show in your diaries. More info nearer the time.
