General Sounds like a V8....

[Formula 91]

Hi All,

Decided to take F91 to my motor club meeting last night, 120 mile round trip down the M40 and A34. All was going well untill I got to the A34 when the back box parted company with the exhaust .
Although I like the V8 sound it now creates, I'm sure my neighbours didn't when I got home late last night .

Any one got any recomendations as to the best place to get a replacement, either fitted or just parts. Also can anyone get me the part number from ePER, I can't get it to work (F91 is a 1000 Carb model with no CAT)

What ever you do don't bother with Quick fit. Had nothing but trouble with them when we had Manda's exhaust done. 3 visits in 3 days and they still didn't do it right. Plus the day before we was selling her it went again so I took her back and kicked off in front of a packed waiting room and they finally got it right.

It's amazing that when you finally have a go they do the job as they was ment to in the first place.

Having looked at it again in the light, I think I may be able to weld it back together which may keep it together for a bit longer. Nothing to loose..

Also after a bit of searching I have found Online Automotive do the rear section for about £34 delivered incase anyone else is interested.

am I the only one thinking if I had a V8 motor that sounded like a tiny 4 pot with a blowing zorst, I'd be wanting an engine re-build lol!
