Hey there,

I hoping someone may be able to help. My friend is living in spain and is due to come back to the UK. She owns a 2004 Fiat Panda 1200cc and it is going to have to pass the VOSA test to be legal for this country.

We know that we will have to change the front and rear headlights, anyone know of any for sale, trying to do it as cheap as poss.

Also do we have to change from KMH to MPH ??

Any help appreciated :)

Hi tinkerpanda and welcome to the forum.

Im not too up on the registration of newer vehicles in the U.K. I did register my '73 fiat 500 without too much effort, I think it cost in the region of £50 for the registration admin and then the cost of one years road tax. Along with this I had to have it MOT'd before going to register it and provide an insurance document along with papers supporting the age of the vehicle.

Im guessing it may be different for newer vehicles, but you may find this link usefull - goodluck !!!

:yeahthat:

Don't think its law to have MPH as main reading... aslong as its on the clock. Miles will also be kept in KM so make sure this is remember if you com to sel it here.

for parts just browse ebay and the classifieds on this forum. Parts are usually available for a good price

Got any pics of the Panda. Post them in "show us your panda" thread
