!965 Fiat 1500 Cabriolet - I'm putting the oil pan back on and am having problems having enough clearance to get it in place. It appears that I may have to detach the lower bolt on each motor mount and lift the engine slightly to gain clearance. Am I correct??? Where is the best point(s) to attach to when lifting the engine from above? (The head is still on it.) Any help or input would be appreciated.

If it's not too late ... I used to just put a rope through the inlet and exhaust manifolds when lifting the engine out of a 1500 sedan
