It is with sadness that I see another old friend off to the scrap heap in the sky.
Too young, only 13, barely a start and less than 100k and its over.
So my punto was rushed off by car ambulance (recovery lorry) to the scrap yard (car knackers yard) to be retired (put to sleep).
£1,219 of repairs on a £500 car isn't justifiable, so it was the most humane thing to do... Recycle it.
So this will be the last post here until I have at some point in the future been able to get enough money together to get me one of they nice new Tipo's, the last one I had was the best buy I had made as it was old faithful, even in the coldest of weathers good old T would fire up.
So for now, I have another vehicle, very weird to drive and I have to say, common as muck with about as much sophistication as a chav whose out on the pull after 19 pints. It will do for now, the sooner I get over this the better but insurance being what it is, this currently saves me £349 insurance. My old punto was a staggering £769 (even with 3 year NCB) The old Tipo I had was only £399 fully comp for a 1.6 L injection.
