Hi everyone, I've owned my 2011 Doblo cargo for a couple of years now but I'm new to the forum.
I found the forum whilst searching for a wiring diagram for my van after it developed a concerning fault, I found an old thread where someone links to a download but when I follow it it says I don't have permission to view the page. (i tried to link to that post but i cant as a new user)
Any ideas why I cant view this link or where else I can find a wiring diagram?

The van has been parked on my drive unused for a week and then when I turned the ignition on it went mad, it sounds like all the relays are firing on and off rapidly and the lights and screen on the dash flicker whilst the ignition is on, it has also run the battery down rapidly as its pretty much dead after I had the ignition on for max 30 seconds to try and figure out what was going on.
Thanks in advance
James

Thanks for the reply, a friend is coming over later and ill connect up with jump leads to see if it behaves normally with a good battery.

Hi James. I'm new to FIAT and the forums, but from all the reading I have done, it does seem a lot of problems across the marque stem from iffy batteries.

However this isn't just true of FIAT but of many other modern cars too, whatever the make.

Good luck; I'm sure you'll get to the bottom of the problems with a bit of guidance from others here.

Another idea might be to check the battery connections. If one of the fat wires is not correctly fixed or is corroded that will cause exactly the behaviour you described.

We got it working with a Jump from another battery, think I will have to change it anyway though as its obviously a bit knackered if its gone that flat after a week of not being used when it was fully charged before.
I had disconnected both terminals of the battery and tested it with a multimeter so i knew the connections were good and the voltage was about right before we jumped it.

Thanks for the replies everyone :D

Although I have sorted that issue I'd still love to know where i can find a good workshop manual/ wiring diagram for the Doblo? I tried downloading an elearn disc thing but it didn't come with any instructions and i couldn't get it working. I'd be happy to pay for a decent manual as long as I knew it was the right one and I wasn't going to get ripped off, I saw one for sale whilst searching but the website looked a bit dubious, has anyone bought one recently and can recommend a legit site?
