Hi everyone! Keano here from Halesowen West Mids. Just retired and bought a 2013 4x4 Twin Air Panda which after 2 years in a Freelander is sooooo cheap to run. Got to get it into the local main dealer tho it has flashing mileage, no blue & me but apart from that the car is in excellent condition with barely a mark on it. Just serviced, new battery, zorst, tyres, full MOT. Loving it. I took it to a local auto electrics for diagnostic and they told me the convergence telematic module (ctm) is missing a message but only main dealer diag will find this so it's booked in for 10th April £115 :bang: but gotta get it fixed the flashing mileage is like chinese water torture!!!

If you've a spare windows laptiop lying around (even an XP one will do), then a licenced copy of MES + cables will cost you considerably less than that main dealer diagnostic, and you'll still have it to use again.

The Blue&Me units have been known to fail; it could also be a loose connection; either will cause the symptoms you're describing. If it is the Blue&Me unit, OEM replacements are silly money (so a main dealer fix will be expensive), but secondhand ones can be had from any of the usual places reasonably cheaply.

You'll still need that licensed copy of MES to get it back up and working, though.

Thanks JR it looks like I may need a replacement Blue & Me. Zeewulf very kindly came over and plugged his laptop in but seemed to think it was a Blue & Me issue so as soon as I find where mine is located I should be able to see what's going on.

typecastboy sources lots of stuff from the breakers; I'm sure he'll be along soon to tell you where to start. He might even have one himself.

There have been hardware changes over the years, so if getting a secondhand one, I'd suggest you get one with matching part numbers.
