Just joined to try and help rather rather perturbed sister. She has just rung me to say that her Panda Mylife odometer has increased in mileage by around 90,000 miles over quite a short period of time. The MoT in February stated 31,000 miles however her current reading is around 120,000 miles! She does about 20 miles a day to and from work, so the odometer seems to be registering high distance travelled for short journeys - any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I don't really have any idea how this is happening but maybe someone more knowledgeable will be along in a minute who does - there's a wealth of knowledge shared amongst the folk on here!

I have loaded up my Multiecuscan program and run your spec vehicle in simulate mode. There is provision, under the adjustments provision, to "write odometer" and a very prominent warning to be careful if doing this as odometer values can only be increased!

I have trawled the net and found nothing about high mileage recorded by the odometer. I wonder if a low battery voltage at start-up could be a possible cause? Fingers crossed someone here has an answer. Thanks again.
