Hi, I have a Fiat 500L which as only done 60,000 miles and the Cam Chain has snapped which means the car is scrap. It is a 1300 Diesel and I was wondering if this is a common problem with this engine and can anyone who has had the same problem please let me know what you have done?

It happens from time to time like with any engine
Wouldn't say it that common however they usually rattle for a while for they finally snap


That Brit said it's a very common engine so you should be able to find a replacement from scrap car
