Hi everyone I wonder if anyone one can help. My stop and start is unavailable on punto evo 2011 error code P1850. I have changed the stop start clutch switch but it came back on. I think i need to recalibrate it. Can someone please tell me how to recalibrate it please? Someone was mentioning that it needs to be recailbrated if you change it for a new one which is a 2min process, it was mentioned on this forum but did not provide how to.

On older models,you push and keep the pedal down,pull the switch plunger toward the pedal,let go of the pedal,it's set ! (Try pulling the old switch first incase I'm wrong and you brake the switch.

Thanks I will give it a try tomorrow. Do I do this with the ignition on or the vehicle started or completely off?

Ignition off is fine,it's just setting up the distances.
