Hi Guys, Im new to the forum and still trying to find my way about so please don't persecute me if this lands in the wrong place.

Ok got 99 problems but my fiat only has one, the heaters stopped working,
was working fine then then all of a sudden when on the highest setting it started to go on then off then on then off and so on, then it stopped working all together, it is a 07 bravo 1.9 multijet, has climate control and air con, i have had this issues with previous alfas so i assumed it would be the resistor, i ordered a resistor and can i find where it goes?? hell no, searched in passenger and drivers
foot well, removed glove box and all surrounding trims but cant find it,
from the drivers foot well i can see the back of the blower but no resistor, spoke with a fiat dealer and they said it should be behind the little triangle plastic trim in the drivers foot well, he said when you remove it it should be right there.
i cannot see this for love nor money, i can see the power feed going into the fan,
follow the cable down to the floor and then it gos to passenger side, go there and it disapears behind control unit, can see all the mortars on that side for air con and re circ ect and they sound like they work but no resistor in sight,::mad::mad::mad:

can anyone help?? thank you for reading

Resistor is only for manual air conditioning.
Search here on forum about reset the climate control and do a try.

That would be frustrating as i was on the phone to two separate fiat service centres today and they both said the same thing, i did find it odd tho where they were telling me a resistor should be and it looks like a moulded piece of housing instead if you get what mean, thanks for the advice i will check and see. :)

tried the re set still nothing, is there a blower relay?? everything else in the car is working so dont no where to go from here.

so checked fuse 31 in passenger side its ok, checked fuse 8 and relay 8 under bonnet all ok,
got power supply off the blower and getting correct voltage so problem lies with the blower,
gave blower a tap and it came back on again intermittently, tried to remove blower got all 3 5.5mm screws out (very awkward) used 5.5 socket on 1" extension on a baby t bar and it done the job, problem is cant get the blower out the space due to the steering column in the way, so put back together and it works. dont think it will last tho so ill maybe try changing the brushes on the motor if possible.or taking the steering column out to replace complete blower, bit of a pain but only way i can see to remove it unless i can separate the white fan from the motor then it might come out. keep you posted.
