Hi all,

Am new (obviously!), and wondering whether there are any other Fiat Panda 1000 Fire Pink owners out there? I know there are only five of us left on the road in the UK (maybe less as I am selling my beloved Betty soon!), and would love to know what you love about them! Cheers, Clare

Hello Clare & welcome :wave:

Lots of us own a pink Panda - ours is called Pinky! When I say lots of us, quite a few chipped in to buy him (yes he's male!). There will be loads of threads and mentions if you search but his fundraising thread is:

What is Betty like - any pics? How's the interior, as Pinky's is causing us grief for the restoration?

So nice not to be the only one! Will get some pictures up as soon as I can take some in daylight! It's hard to know about the interior, as I have no other Pinky to compare it to, but the old 90's spirit is still there!

Yes that's how I tracked it down too!

The one I found was in a spotted thread - somewhere in London.

Was hoping the OP would wonder how we'd found it. Not many Panda's get past this section!!

Hi everyone - yes, this is me (and my husband in the passenger seat)...I had no idea I was so popular!

I bought the car from Cheltenham about two and a half years ago, not sure about Lowestoft, but there has been 3/4 other owners.

I hope the world is this keen when I put her up for sale! Thank you for being so welcoming x

The parked picture I only came across the other day on Flickr (I am a bit of a social media-avoider), my husband thinks he remembers someone taking it. We've been filmed/photographed on the road (always the M25, for some reason), but we always though it was for amusement value, not because someone actually cared!

Finally home in daylight to take some pictures! Of course it is now grey and miserable (the weather, not lovely Betty), but you will get the idea...!

I adore the original upholstery, it is a tiny bit of early 90's genius! Betty's needs a proper, industrial clean, my attempts have no yielded many results. Sadly, some horrid person stole my radio a while back, so the dashboard bit where the radio is has broken, but there is a lovely DAB radio in there now!

As for outside, she has a strange panel that has been treated/covered/repainted (front passenger door) - no idea why. There is also a scratch down the drivers side which was there when I bought it (more meanies who don't like pink cars I guess).

Let me know what you think I have no idea whether this is a good example or not? All I can say is she still goes and the M25 holds no fear for her!

Not a fan of the speaker placement on the door card, but each to their own, it looks cracking nonetheless

Thank you, you're very kind. I always wondered about the speakers, it's not where I would have put them either!

Thank you! She is a niche market, but she is lovely, and I'd love it if someone could keep her going for a long time yet - she's definitely got it in her!
