Hi guys, Ive just bought a 2008 fiat 500 diesel and it has a strange misfire or jerky running when on light throttle ie 1500 rpm, it makes the rev counter needle bounce at the same time, if you let off the power or accelerate it goes, no warning lights or smoke, if anyone has ever come across this with this engine I would love to know what it is and fix if possible. hi , EGR problems are common on the 1.3's ,
try a SEARCH - or post in the panda section where are lots of 1.3's,

the EGR's are a bug-bear on LOTS of modern diesels,
Panda and 500 are VERY similar mechanically,
punto's too,
