Hey all just got my fiat bravo back after a quick pop to the garage for tensioners and cam belt kit change £180 shes starting to sound better, much.
However to quieten her down any further I defo feel tappets are in need of a change, mechanic said himself that was the remainder of the noise and that it was only on 1 cylinder???? what ever he means.
Right so im thinking of setting myself alittle project and to save on £'s in doing the tappets myself, first things first for a novice mechanic is this a safe and easy job to do, safe as in can i do any damage to the engine by replacing them myself? Also so i dont fork out uneccesary money how can you tell which tappets need changing or should i just do them all and what else should i need to do whilst doing the tappets??
