So. The problem - stalls quite often, mostly in car-parks. And throws up P0130 - O2 sensor preheating circuit fault. And it idles at around 800 rpm - up from the 680-720 range when the crankshaft sensor was replaced.

I've tried - proper service, new plugs, leads, coil-pack etc. It's had a new lambda sensor in a new manifold (thread stripped). New crankshaft sensor and the weird phonic wheel reset procedure.

Any ideas what to try next? I want to get it running right before it dies and strands me somewhere - it's a daily driver.

Thanks in advance!

Graham

It could well be the oxygen sensor. There’s usually 4 wires going into them, 2 will be black, they are the Heater circuit, unplug the sensor from the loom and check the resistance across these 2 wires, should be low, like 1-4 ohms... if it’s open circuit then it’s a good indication that it’s goosed.
Marty.

Is the oxygen sensor different from the lambda sensor? If so, where is it?

Thanks!

Graham
