I'd like to clean my injectors. Jtd.
I see some people run liquid moli neat through theirs.
Any thoughts or words of wisdom???
I have to remove one as it's leaking... Got an o ring this morn for it.
Worth dipping/seeping them in something?
Cheers
Marty

Depending where you live, the are plenty of specialist companies that can have these cleaned up. They put them in an ultra sound bath… If you have a high mileage multi it might be worth the monies. The company I have used before charge £41ea injector… They can be a pain to get out or even snap in the head, again there are companies that can get them out but it aint cheap. So be really careful. The best thing to do is soak them over night with release fluid or a specific injector release fluid. Not unless you have it out and I'm talking bolox!!!!
Good luck.

Took one out tonight... The one that was leaking... It had tarred itself into the cylinder!!
Made up a slide hammer to get it out... Was a pig.. Had to leave it half in while I chipped the tar off de top of the cylinder lest it fall in!!

Made up an attachment for the hoover(half inch qualpex) for sucking the crap out of the bore.
The bottom washer was tarred in.
Had to make up some thing to block the hole while I chipped/hoovered repeat.... For thelast two hours.
Need to replace the bottom washer but I guess the injector may be leaking from the middle too....

I'll have the lads up the road pressure test it if they can tomorrow.

Bloody multis!!!
Wouldn't mind it was running lovely today after tightening up the turbo hoses!!
