My Multipla cuts out when the tank is below half. f I leave it for a minute and turn the ignition I hear a gurgeling sound from the back of the car. I suspect it comes from the fuel tank. Then it starts after 20 seconds of cranking, but cuts out again after 5 minutes driving.

I took it to the Fiat garage but only after filling the tank. They plugged in the computer and got the errors but because I filled the tank, they could not get the same errors again. Maybe I should call the same garage that the test and explain the new noise I hear from the back of the car. This happened while being on holiday, so taking the car back is not an option.

Anyone have an idea what it could be?

Hi,

What happens if you open the filler cap at half full then close it again ?

If it behaves for a reasonable chunk of that tankful it would indicate that the breather is blocked.
