I personally have no idea what it could be but try using the search feature or the similar threads links at the bottom of the page. Hopefully you'll find some information where someone else has had a similar problem before.

Hi
It sounds like your clutch is going. This can happen in differing ways but yours is exactly as mine was.
I got a new clutch from CG-Motorsport

.clutch-specialists.co.uk/search.php?manufacturerid=13&modelid=20&categoryid=2

They do 3 types basic £98
Heavy duty £148
Ceramic £250 ish

The sports/heavy duty one is the one i had and is excellent and cheaper than most basic clutch kits on the market.

Pig of a job to fit though ............

Hi merlin1973

I'm just about to have the same CG Motorsport clutch fitted to my Multipla. What do you think of it? Has the clutch action got noticably heavier for having the heavy duty version?

Following the other clutch threads on here, I'm glad I'm not fitting it myself....

The clutch seems a good un matey(y)(y)(y)

I have to admit that the clutch seems fine and (like my wallet) probably a little lighter:)

Cluch was good quality and works fine and for the money it is keeping my ugly bug happy and runnin fine.

Nice one CG:worship:
